Welcome to the Future: Meeting Transcription
Have you ever had to step away during a meeting to grab a quick snack? Or, perhaps, refresh your coffee? Well, good news – now you don’t have to worry about missing anything with the Otter Assistant feature of Otter.ai. This tool is used for meeting transcription and creates machine learning-generated notes automatically.
First, when the Otter Assistant feature was released, it would only work with Zoom meetings. However, as of this past summer, it now integrates with Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and even Cisco Webex meetings.
While some platforms already offer transcription features like Teams and Slack, not all of them do! So, if you’re using a service that doesn’t already offer it, Otter.ai could be your next best friend for meeting transcription.
In Conclusion
Ultimately, meeting transcription is only as good as its artificial intelligence. It also helps to speak clearly. Though, if you’ve got the whole speaking thing down, you can now keep track of conversations live – even while the meeting is still in progress – with Otter Assistant. Last but not least – it does have a cost associated with it, so be sure to check out their plans before pulling the trigger.
