Video Games: Our Library Recently
The video games we’ve played most recently are: Among Us, The Division 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Stardew Valley. Continue reading below to learn a bit about each of them.
Among Us
First, Among Us is an online multiplayer social deduction game. Players act as astronauts on a spaceship working together to complete tasks, however, some are impostors. Unlike their counterparts, Impostors have the ability to sabotage and kill the Crewmates. Work together to try and pinpoint who's responsible for murder and vote astronauts off the ship at the end of each round.
Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Next, The Division 2 is a third-person shooter RPG and features a campaign, co-op, and PVP modes. Additionally, new content and challenges are released regularly. Similarly, exotic and other top-tier weapons and gear are updated periodically.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla
AC Valhalla is the twelfth major installment and the 22nd release in the Assassin's Creed series. Valhalla is the successor to 2018's Odyssey. What is more, this open-world action game follows the life of Eivor, a viking raider. Use the renowned hidden blade to assassinate targets in the thin veil of darkness.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
ACNH is the fifth major release in the Animal Crossing series by Nintendo. Besides collecting fruit, catching fish & bugs, and digging up fossils, you can decorate your home and town. Similarly, create your own style by customizing your outfit or designing a new logo. With this in mind, you can really get creative!
Stardew Valley
Last but certainly not least, Stardew Valley is similar to the aforementioned Animal Crossing. As a farmer, you become the owner of your grandfather's old farm. Plant and water crops, raise livestock, and learn how to make an honest wage in SV.
Honorable Mentions
Below you’ll find a few games that we felt needed at least a brief callout.
- Left 4 Dead 2 – One of the best (if not the best) zombie-killing games of all time. Unlike some of the others, this game was the #1 co-op game of 2008. Fight for your life alongside three other survivors with a variety of melee weapons and guns. Special zombies have abilities like vomiting noxious acid, ninja-like speed, super strength, and more.
- Killing Floor 2 – If L4D2 doesn’t get it done from you, TKF 2 surely will, with 6-player co-op and 12-player versus survival mode. Slay zombies in style with regular player gear and weapon updates.
- Rust – An open world, multiplayer survival game. Craft clothing, tools, and a shelter to keep your stuff safe. Hunt animals, takedown scientists, and hack zombie limbs to pieces with your friends in this 2018 classic.
- S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat – Call of Pripyat is the direct sequel of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl. Pick up from where you left off in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor that exploded in 1986. This game features a photorealistic exclusion Zone: all locations were recreated as true-to-life prototypes based on photographs, so history buffs can enjoy this immersive experience.
In conclusion, these are only a few of our favorites. Do you play one that you think is worth trying? Message us.
