Staley Martial Arts

About the project

Staley Martial Arts x Hailstorm-Development

After working with Staley Martial Arts initially by volunteering to teach Women’s Self Defense classes in Wilmette, Hayley decided to reach out to the owner about their classes and website. The owner advised that the site hadn’t been updated in some time and that there were a lot of emails about registering for a trial class. Since Staley was already using MyStudio for billing, we investigated other features and how we could integrate them with the new site, making signups quicker and minimizing administration time.

Some of our goals for this project were to:

  • Make it easy for new students to sign up for a trial class
  • Update the schedule mechanics and display so it shows all classes & instructors on mobile and desktop devices
  • Share biographies of instructors at the gym
  • Add a contact form so potential new students and current students can get in touch
