Did You Know...
That you can say Lumos to turn on the flashlight on your iPhone? Well, now you do! When you decide it’s time to return to darkness, just say, “Nox!” to disable it. Pretty cool, huh? Now you have all the more reason to use the phrase, “You’re a wizard, Harry.”
Say Lumos to Turn On the Flashlight...and Nox to Turn It Off
In addition to turning on the flashlight by using Siri, you can also have her turn it off by saying, “Nox!” Furthermore, if you really want to get into the spellcasting game, you can use the shortcut Spells to perform others. A couple of examples of this are:
- Wingardium Leviosa – some users say that you can cast this spell to search for a flight out of your current location.
- Avada Kedavra – this spell “kills” your phone by reducing the brightness all the way and switching it to airplane mode.
- Accio – saying this one will open the app you say after it according to user @blushingfiancee on Twitter.
